More TW rumours and Done Deals in the EPL:

Hello and welcome to my latest TW blog post.
In this post, Lille winger Eden Hazard and Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie are two of the main players linked away from their clubs.

So, let's begin with some juicy transfer rumours:

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic says that Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho wants him at Real next season.
He says that he has just won the Champions League, and even though he is flattered by interest from other clubs, he wants to stay at Chelsea at least until his contract runs out.

Tottenham winger Giovani Dos Santos will hold talks with his club next month after a lack of match-time.
He has been linked to some Spanish clubs including Atletico Bilbao and Valencia.

Norwich City are interested in Leeds midfielder Robert Snodgrass and are reportedly going to bid £1.4million for him very soon.

BREAKING NEWS: Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has confirmed that he has signed a new four year contract deal which will keep him with The Blues until 2016.

FACT: Cech has played 369 matches for Chelsea since moving from Rennes in 2004.

Swansea have confirmed that they have agreed a £6.8million fee with Hoffenheim for the permanent transfer of midfielder and winger Glyfi Sigurdsson after having a successful loan spell since the January transfer window.
He is due to have his medical at the club later on this week.

FACT: This will be Swansea's record transfer fee for a player since Dany Graham for £3.5million last season from Watford.

He will be a great signing for Swansea, and suits the way they play. Quality signing and could help them seal a top 10 finish next season.

Fulham are ready to make a £5million bid for Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes.
Huddersfield want £8million though for Rhodes.

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner claims to have received a number of approaches to sign him, but says no decision will be made on his future until after Euro 2012.

Not needed: Nicklas Bendtner (right) is not needed at Arsenal, and is almost certain of moving from North London before the start of next season.

'Yes, I have talked to other clubs,' he said. 'I have told all the clubs that I want to wait until after Euro 2012.
'We have got plenty of time to sort out the future.'

USA boss Jurgen Klinsmann is hoping Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey plays Champions League football next season.

Arsenal, PSG and Liverpool are all interested in the midfielder, with Arsenal favourites to sign him as they have CL football next season.

'You would obviously want to play in the biggest club competition in the world and that's the European Champions League and hopefully something will happen over the next couple of weeks', he said.

Blackburn striker Yakubu has hinted that he could leave Rovers following their relegation from the EPL this season.
He has admitted that he does not want to play in the Championship next season, and wants to stay in the EPL.

'I still have two years left with Blackburn, but I played in the Championship before,' said Yakubu.

'I felt at home there but we'll see what is going to happen. I think it's too early to say whether I'll be moving on. I may be in the Championship. I may be in the Premier League,' he said.

Lille winger Eden Hazard has hinted he has reached a decision on which club to join this summer - but is still yet to announce it.

The 21-year-old has been pursued by several clubs and has previously revealed interest from Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea.
With his future looking likely to be in the EPL, an announcement from Hazard on his future appears closer.
He wrote on Twitter on Monday: 'good afternoon guys. i made up my mind. see you later. thanks'

The club in question has reportedly said he may reveal which club it will be, but there will not be any press conferences.

BREAKING NEWS:

Eden Hazard has confirmed that he will join Champions League and FA Cup winners Chelsea.

So..... Arsenal and Chelsea are both looking to the future of their respective clubs with youngsters as transfers....
Everton are spending big to bolster their squad and their top 10 finish hopes...
Blackburn are strenghtening their edgy defence, Villa are looking at loans for the short term and Bolton are re-shaping their squad after the £7million investment they made on Gary Cahill.

In Part 2,
We will take a look at both Manchester clubs plus the biggest spenders in the transfer market for two windows in a row, QPR and how Tottenham are doing after sending over 15 players out on loan.
I will leave you with these 2 stories:

Everton 1 Manchester City 0
City have now lost 4 matches out of their last 7.....
Are they (along with United) losing their 'unbeatable' touch they had at the start of the season?
Should Manchester City start offloading (considering they didn't in the January transfer window)?

And...

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has warned Fernando Torres the time is running out to end his Chelsea drought.

Fernando Torres: Cannot seem to find the goal....
Can he do it?
Can he get back in the Spanish National team?
Or should AVB sell him once and for all?

2011-12 goal count: 5
Daniel Sturridge's 2011-12 goal count: 18 (he cost Chelsea £3.5million)

That is not good enough for a £50million striker who is also the fourth most expensive player in history....

Thank you for reading my blog. See you later everyone!

Done Deals Extended and Transfer Talk:

Done Deals Extended:

It's 'extended' but hardly any transfers (except loans) to get football fans excited:

Main transfer story:

Alex -  Chelsea to PSG (around £4million)

PSG: Money talks as they sign Chelsea defender Alex for £4million despite his desire to move back to Brazil.

Gavin Hoyte - Arsenal to AFC Wimbledon (1 month loan)
He needs experience of first-team football especially as a defender..
Sanchez Watt - Arsenal to Crawley Town (season loan)
Nathan Delfouneso - Aston Villa to Leicester (1 month loan)
Mame Biram Diouf - Manchester United to Hannover (undisclosed fee)

3 EPL clubs have not bought any players yet in this Transfer window - Stoke, Sunderland and Manchester City; (only because UEFA literally banned them from doing so)

Transfer Talk+News:

QPR have launched a £5million bid to bring striker Djibril Cisse back to England from Lazio.
That would bolster their attack....

Bolton have made an official approach for defender Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha and have offered £5million.
It would be a shock if he snubbed Liverpool and Newcastle - for Bolton.

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez is staying at City until at least the Summer after AC Milan confirmed to have 'backed off' for the current transfer window.
I knew he would stay at City in this transfer window.....

Fulham are interested in West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie but will have to pay £6million for him.

Rumours are flying that goalkeeper Ben Foster wants to move to West Brom permamently after his loan spell because he told The Baggies to buy team-mate Liam Ridgewell.

Reports claim Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho will return to the Premier League next season.

It is understood Liverpool have failed with a bid to swap strikers Andy Carroll for Carlos Tevez.
LOL, nice try Liverpool but City are not that stupid....

Defender David Dunn has signed a new contract with Blackburn until the summer of 2013.

Wigan want to cash in on striker Hugo Rodallega for £4million now before the summer when he could leave on a free transfer. Stoke and QPR are interested.

Bolton are set to sign Arsenal's Japanese winger Ryo Miyachi on loan.

Striker Demba Ba will reportedly quit Newcastle in the summer unless they qualify for Europe with six Premier League clubs ready to meet his buy-out clause.

Everton defender Johnny Heitinga is wanted by Spanish side Real Mallorca.

Fulham's highly-rated teenager Pajtim Kasami is on the verge of joining Juventus.

And lastly:

Fulham midfielder Clint Dempsey has admitted his ambition to play in the Champions League.
He became the first American to score a hat-trick in the EPL, and has scored 9 goals this season so far..... so why not?

  • Can he sign for a Top 4 EPL club and fit into the 1st squad?

  • Or does he have to shock the world and do it with Fulham?

  • The main question is:
Does he have the ability and consistency to do it week in week out?

Clint Dempsey: Eyes the biggest prize in World football........

3 days left in the Winter TW....
    See you later everybody.
